I need some tips making jazz music. Ya im only 15 but im pretty talented and I like smooth jazz and rock. But I wanna try making some smooth jazz music.. Right now I have a new Yamaha DGX-200 which is a very VERY good keyboard with 605 voices, and 135 styles. You have the ability to record stuff too, 6 tracks a song. Plz help

Certainly, I am not a Jazz expert but I do appreciate Jazz chords and Jazz techniques on the piano. I believe one needs to embrace improvization when it comes to Jazz music. But behind improvization, solid musical foundation is a must. Good luck.
