i did a sys ex dump from a Z1 patch i found on the internet into my Z1. Now my Z1 wont boot up. When I power up it keeps asking "save to card ? execute yes" but no button presses help. it stays like this till I power off.

So does anybody know how to do a factory reset or do i have to take it to the repair shop ?

That's all you need do is press SW1 and SW2 together when switching on the Z1 this will reset the Z1 to default. You will then need to refresh all pre-programmed sounds from the z1 global option.

I found this post, and have a question--maybe two--for anyone who has come across this situation:
Doesn't the Z1 automatically reload all factory presets to both bank A and B when you reset the keyboard?
Why is it necessary to manually refresh the factoty presets from the Z1 global option?
