I still can't believe it, but I have been playing with my PSR3K all day. It's an incredible machine. I have a few questions already posted on the psrtutorial forum.

The shopowner told me an interesting thing.
His story was that Yamaha Europe moved from Germany to Belgium, whole warehouse and everything. This meant that two weeks there were no deliveries, but little later they moved everything back to Germany again. Another two weeks of no delivery. And a strong delay in shipments as well.
Now they depend on the shopowners to tell them what they already delivered and what still has to be delivered because their own books are a mess. Yamaha is far behind in their delivery. (the shop ordered 5 PSR3K's and got one. He showed me 4 pages of items still to be delivered by Yamaha). Music schools however started and many starter-keyboards were ordered. The schools couldn't wait for Yamaha and ordered Rolands instead. Roland had to ship in a great number of keyboards BY AIR to meet the demands.
Good for Roland, bad for Yamaha.
But ... it's a great keyboard.
And now I also know what 12 years of no-practice means
Have to study now .......

Wow, what a MESS at Yamaha Europe ! I guess I feel real fortunate as I just got my Tyros back from Yamaha USA in less than a weeks time (from the day I shipped it to them till the day I got it back fixed). The ironic thing about this is that I had prior to this, had to wait over 6 months before realizing that it had been Yamaha Europe (not Yamaha USA) who had figured out the SOLUTION to the well known Tyros USB problem. drdalet, glad you already have your new psr3000 already, and trust that yours won't have to visit Yamaha Europe (Germany) anytime soon. - Scott
