I have read a couple FAQs and got some answers to questions I had. Here are the unanswered questions.

How many expansion slots are in the Pro X and other models?

Has anyone installed the 3rd party Internal HD interface from? http://www.musitronics.de/info-e/TritionHD_info_e.html

If so what are your thoughts and does it allow you to load up samples right away?

Would it just be better to have an external SCSI device to access samples quicker?

Are external SCSI HDs supported, what type (ultra wide)?

Thanks

Have you read this faq (and other info): http://www.pvv.ntnu.no/~knutinh/tritonhardware/index.htm

Expansion slots:
triton, pro, pro-x:2xpcm, 2xram, scsi, moss
triton rack: 8xpcm, 3xram, scsi, moss, digital out, mLan
Karma: 2xpcm, moss

Internal hd:
none that I have heard of. The drive adds no features that cant be accessed from an external scsi hd.

External hds, cdrom and optical media are supported. essentially, the triton cannot take advantage of fast drives or interfaces. See my site for compatibility list.

best regards
Knut inge
