This is about my Sd1. I have assigned the keyboard to L&R and out3 right now. In the page 2 of utility I have selected keboard out ass. to be L&R Out3. Everything is still assigned to L&R except Drum2, which is assigned to Out3.

Right now Drum2 is dry, which I can live with I guess, but L&R still has the effects working for all other parts except Drum1. So I like to know if this could be fixed with the upcoming O.S. update. The reason I am assigning drum2 to out3 is to have seperate control over the volume and equalizer of my drum samples through my external mixer.

This is not usual ... check the Drum2 effects (ARRANGER VIEW; -PAGE+ to the effects page). The effects are only eliminated totally when using the 4 Separate Outputs or if set as such by the user.

This case is not standard operation.

Thanks for the respond. I have already tried what you are saying and believe me it is happening with this keyboard.

I don't know if you have actually tried what I am doing or any body else who owns sd1. If this is the case then it sounds like a bug and it needs to be fixed immediately with the next update.

I have tried this on the keyboard I have here plus 2 others at PianoMan & Washington Music Center ... and gotten the same results. Hmmm - strange.
