Hello to all,

I would like to create a style variation for my Pa80 from a midi sequence (generated by band-in-a-box).
Has anybody made that?
If so, could you please help me in the operatory mode for this?
Thank you.

EMC is ok. You will still have to tweak the style once you convert it. You can save a little money if you're willing to do a little work.

Go to-
http://www.korgpa.com/pa_root/en/products/pa80_soft.html?en and download the PA80 midi to style tool. It's a very simple app and there are instructions. I've used it to convert well over 100 styles to PA80 format, as well as used it to extract midi data from the korg styles for conversion and use on Yamaha boards. It is a little more work than using an auto convert app like EMC, but I was able to create and tweak a style ( tweak inside the PA80 ) in less than 10 minutes from raw midi data once I got the hang of it.
