I have a PC88 and a couple of notes are clacking. One sounds like the pad is gone and makes a thunk when the key hits the keybed.
The other one occasionally makes a knock when
it comes back up.
I've worked on other keyboards before and I'm not afraid to open this up. There are a lot of screws on it tho. Which ones nedd to be remove to open it? Anyone have any idea if this is something I can fix myself, and how?

Thanks,
Bill Kzzz88@aol.com

Its likely that the key weights are coming loose. It will probably need to be serviced.

Mike,
Thanks for your reply. The situation is I'm using it in my teaching studio and don't want it out of commission. If it's only tightening
the weights, that doesn't seem a complicated matter. The unit's out of warranty. I'd have to pay for the repair. If I can't fix it I'll live with it.
Anyone out there done this repair. I think this was a Fatar action.
