Susan and I went to a casino for $9.95 all-you-can-eat seafood buffet and briefly heard a band called The Convertibles. Excellent 50's-60's nostalga band. They are a local group of old guys (40 to 55 years old). Great sound system too. I heard a Behringer Truth powered speaker that the drummer was using with electronic drums. They used 4 Crown power amps and a 32-track board.
We were back home by 10:30. What do people do on Saturday night when they are not working?

Same thing happened to me, I had a high school reunion to play for and they cancelled the reunion about a week ago.

Don, that reminds me of a 65th class reunion..The guy called to cancel the night before, he said his wife was not feeling well, and he did not want to be the only one there[literally]..

This is the first week that I DON'T have to work on Saturday (and Sunday). Was working Monday to Sunday the whole month of August.

So- I'm just chillin'...hangin out, working on my songs. Going to invite some people next week to my place including a special girl..he.he...I'm going to sing "My cherrie amor" at that time at least I have the whole weekend to sequence the song and practice
