Hey Folks,
I think I finally get it! I've been using the drum parts then playing all others myself. However, I sat down the other day and fiddled with the music finder. Playing around with the styles for a bit I made up a song. Now a few days later every time I sit down to play the thing I'm writing another song. Great feature. I'm glad I figured it out. I have in the past tried the styles, on the psr550 but they always sounded cheesey.
So stop trying them. When I first recived the
psr2000 I tried the styles a bit and really didn't like them to much. But the song/styles when using those something clicked and now can not stop playing....

I have to agree with you on the 550's styles.. There not real cheesy, but they truly aren't the best. When I would record on the 550 (before I started using a drum machine), I would only use the drum tracks of a style (of course I'd change sets used for the style because the defaults didnt really do it for me).... I can't find any use for the rest of the style. I still use the drum tracks on the keyboard too, but only when I'm going to share the file with someone else. Congrats on the 2000.. It's a good arranger. Hope you get much enjoyment from it..

I know what you mean. It is like evry style has a song waiting to be written to it.
