I give up. It's late and I'm tired!

I've just spent two hours trying out a very simple procedure on my Ketron X1HD without success.

Having sampled a very short sound, saved it to the H/Disk and loaded it into memory, I can play the sound on the keyboard with no problem. The red lights are on Piano, 17, Bank1/2 and UserVoice.

If I change the voice however, I just can't get back to the sampled sound by lighting up the same configuration lights. the 17 light does not come on when pressed. The sound is in memory but I can't access it!

I'm fairly new to this and I must be missing something.

I would also love to use sampled sounds when using Pattern Edit. Is this possible on the X1?

Seriously though, Any idea how I can access my user voices (wav.files), after I've loaded them into memory?

Actually I am not sure I understand your problem. I do know that with your .wav files you have to have an MSP file to be able to load your sample into memory.

I have not started to fool with the sampler on the X1 yet so I may not be the best for that, but I have loaded some MSP's on my X1 and they worked fine. There are 8 locations that you can load samples into RAM.

After I sample a sound, I hit the Save button and the file is saved as a .wav file.

I'll look for the MSP option and see if that works.
