Hmmm, we had speculated that they just didn't allocate sufficiently for the North American region.  It sounds like they just didn't set up sufficient world-wide output!  I suppose they'll ramp up production or something (unless the whole business has to do with some shortage of specialized internal parts).  Yes, it's difficult to sell a synth when you have none to sell

The same situation has occured in the UK, in fact some retailers are getting a bit bitchy about it, some claiming that the KN 7000 is outselling the Tyros 20 to 1 due to the non availability.
