I want to use a K2600 as standalone workstation to create complete instrumental-backings (and perhaps vocals, if they'll include hard-disc-recording).
Before buying this gear I want to clear some for me important questions.

Is it possible to edit a program while the sequencer ist playing this program and others on other tracks (channels)?

And regarding KDFX in sequencer-mode: I've read it has 1 master and up to 4 insert effects. Can every channel have it's own effect, for example drums on channel 1 with compressor, synthbass on channel 2 with chorus, lead on channel 3 with delay ... - and all channels with more or less reverb (as master effect)?

The K2600 will allow you to edit Programs and Samples while the sequencer is running!

Yes KDFX has 1 Master effect and 4 Inserts. Each of the inserts can also do "dual mono send" effects allowing for a total of 8 simultaneous effects.
