That sweet flute is a great sound.. The first time I played it I was totally shocked. I couldn't believe how real it sounded, and then when I heard the "chiff" it really made me jump back. That's one thing I love about Yamaha.. When it comes to acoustic instruments, they really put some work into them.. (Ketron is the same way) One thing I really hated about the 540 was the way it looked.. That keyboards looks really didn't say much about what it could do.. It looked like a cheap toy. The 550 looks so much better. Now that you have the 550 we should exchange files some time. We could work on a song together.. You write a part of it, send it to me, I add something, and we just keep going back and forth with it...
Oh the "red" record screen will throw you off at first.. The 540 had a really nice green display, and your eyes adjust to it quicky.... When you press the record button on the 550, you may have to blink a few times.. Going from blue to red, is quite a jump on the eyes... One of these days I'll get the PSR-1000... Not sure if it'll be soon or when it will be, but one day I will have it....
