I'm looking to add a controller keyboard to my setup. I'm actually at a loss as to what size and features. I don't have many requirements other than I'd like to be able to switch between midi modules/keyboard sounds. Are 25 keys too few? Do I really want 49 keys? I know Edirol makes a 32-note board, but is it worth the extra price?

What kinds of controllers are you using and what are the pro and cons? Happy New Year Everybody!

Thanks Donny, but I'm more interested in opinions than facts at this point. I've looked into most all of the controllers. I just want to know what the forum thinks about them.

Novation Remote 25/49/61 is a very good Controller with good keys with after touch and Ribbon plus Joystick.
I use the Remote 61 and it is great and has 2 Midi outs.
The way you change Programs is by turning a nob to get program changes then you press it down to recall that Program number.

Another Nice controller is the Korg KONTROL49
