I followed the link in another thread, and read about the new Ketron Audya. The brochure says it has "accordion mode." Is this anything like Guitar Mode on the high-end Roland arrangers? What is accordion mode, how does it work? -Ted

It is likely to be a way that MIDI accordions can trigger the Audya, NOT a way to emulate accordions on an arranger! ROFLMAO!

Too bad! I was hoping it might be an alternative to the expensive (and heavy) Orla PK-400. It's high time someone offered a lightweight arranger with an accordion-style Stradella bass left hand section.

One workaround could be a plug-in midi controller, like the Pro-MB 2006, but with a piano keyboard on the right side. I've considered this option lots of times, but these are hard to find in the U.S. -Ted

Roland make an incredibly good Virtual Accordion (though it IS pricey!) with MIDI outs that could trigger the arranger. Plus it has some pretty awesome accordion sounds and a full set of regular sounds as well.
