Sorry for the dustiness of this query, but does anyone know anything about an Oberheim keyboard from the mid-80s called the Oberhem Emulator? Supposedly it had sound effects capabilities, including a key or "chip" named in honor of Doug E. Fresh, the rap performer who made "human beatbox" sounds with his mouth. Can anyone confirm this? Can anyone recall this? Please let me know. Thanks.

The only "emulator" I have ever heard of was produced by E-mu. You can check here:
