As some of you may have read on another thread:
http://www.synthzone.com/ubbs/Forum37/HTML/009311.html I recently ordered an Archos Gmini 400 MP3/Video player online a couple of days ago. When I ordered it, the online retailer (buydig.com) told me it was in-stock and that it would ship the next day, and that I would receive a FedEx shipping tracking number. The following day, I called them again, and they assured me the product was already allocated for me & ready to be shipped, but that a tracking number wouldn't be issued till that evening. Today, the 3rd day, I called again, and NOW I've subsequently learned that, not only is the product OUT of STOCK and on back order for at least 1-2 weeks, but that my credit card has already been CHARGED. I was, as you might certainly understand, quite upset. The salesperson could only sheepishly apologize and promised to credit my card back within 24-48 hours. To be on the SAFE side, I have contacted my Credit Card Company to let them know what's going on just in case these Buydig guys try to screw me over.
Interestingly enough, I thought I had done my homework, as before purchasing from Buydig.Com, I had done extensive research and found that internet customer reviews of this online retailer garnered one of the highest ratings, relative to the number of review respondents:

I guess I'll be holding off on the Archos Gmini 400 (at least for now), and possibly saving up for that Sony TR laptop Donny Pesce recommendeds I get instead.
