Thanks for your excellent suggestion of "Shangri-La". That's one I've heard, but have never played. Wonderfully lush "Four Freshman" style harmonys abound in that song. Re: your recording of "Mr Lucky": What keyboard, software, and recording method was utilized? I think your melody notes played sound fine, but the balance (volume) of each (all) the parts (not just bass) sound 'way off'; the drums need to be re-mapped or re-assigned to another drumkit altogether, and the key of the auto accomp intro incongruous with melody's key. I suggest re-mapping the drums, and re-adjusting balances of which should dramtically improve the sound of your rendition of this classic tune.
