Hi ALL!
Tonite I will be playing my tyros for thr first time in Public. Its a christmas party in one of the local schools. I am no stranger to gigs but the problem is when its outdoor. This is supposed to take place in an open ground and the sound will be wuite diffeent. Any pointers or suggestions?Also I wanted some tips on how to overcome audience fea. I almost always have a had time looking in the eyes of the audience and singing. PLs. Help

Look out OVER the heads of the people closest to you and focus (and SMILE) on the back row. When the crowd looks at you, they'll see a smiling, happy, confident performer enjoying his craft .... when you look at THEM, you'll see a far-off, tiny, unassuming, harmless music lover that wants to have a good time !(and they won't know you're looking right at them !)
