DonM and Travelin-Easy and whoever else may advise,

Have you found any ideal L1 Presets for Channels 1 and 2 for your various keyboards?

I just got my system yesterday and so far hearing my Tyros1 through it makes it sound like a major upgrade. Wow!

I just use 00 and e.q. from the keyboard or mixer. I experimented with all the presets, but couldn't find any I liked as well as doing it that way.
Hope to see you again soon!
There is an excellent User forum at Bose.com by the way.

00-05 were my favorites when I had the PAS before I sold it.....I'll agree Don's method works very well also....EQ from the KB.

Good Luck

Thanks to all who replied. I'll be trying out your recommendations. I have visited the Bose web site quite a bit. A lot of the postings there were very helpful in deciding to try the L1 system.

Don,
Am I correct in assuming that if you use 00
then the Bose mix is flat and you don't need to connect the remote?

Sometimes I use the remote, sometimes not.
If you need to control the volume in real time, or need to add bass or treble because of a particular room, then you can use the remote.
When I'm using an external mixer, the remote is redundant.

Hi Jay R
Franz Lambert used 2 or 4 Bose speakers with his Wersi OAS instrument on his European tour, and he had a remote each side of him, then depending on the type of music he was playing he adjusted the speakers to suit.
This may not apply to you as he was playing mainly in large concert halls, but I thought I would mention it anyway.
Enjoy whatever you play

Bill

I use the remote all the time--it's attached to the right side of the keyboard with a Velcro patch and I can control everything on the fly, which for me is the best option available.

Cheers,

Gary
