......is not being talked about

So... for anyone that may have the slightest interest then I have given my website a makeover. I liked the old flash site but it was a swine to edit so have gone back to good old HTML with the odd dash of flash to spice things up!

It is not quite finished yet but the majority is up along with a couple of new songs!

Tony W Music!
Any feedback, good bad or abusive is to be welcomed
Best wishes
Tony

Hi Tony , perhaps less Flash, but this definitely doesn't diminish the terrific creativity & quality of your music. I'm continuely moved by your lyrics and songwriting ability. I enjoy all of your songs each in their own special way.

"What's it All About" has a nice breezy 60's feel. Kind of reminds me of the Monkee's classic: "Daydream Believer". Curious what Yamaha style was used on this one. A Motown style perhaps?

I don't remember hearing: 'Crying Over You' before. even though you say it's one of your first. I especially like your use of the spanish guitar rhythm flavor on that one. Is that an actual recorded acoustic guitar track or did you play this on the keyboard or integrated as part of a keyboard auto-accompaniment style. If an auto accompiment style, then this sounds more impressive sounding than the Tyros mega guitar voices. Really looking forward to hearing your upcoming tune: "You Keep Me Running Round". Go Tony ! - Scott

Thanks for the visit Donny and Don

Donny, that Jacket cost an absolute fortune (almost as much as the 9000pro) and I hardly ever wear it! It is so distinctive that you can only wear it once or people think it is the only jacket you have!

Scott, you are too kind...but your words are appreciated.
Yes 'What's it all about' if I remember correctly was recorded utilising one of the two inbuilt mowtown styles on the 9000pro.

As for 'Crying Over You'..... I would like to say that the guitar track is all me on a classical accoustic (but if I did say that it would be a filthy lie!! ) No it is another of the inbulit styles on the pro. I too was amazed with the clarity of the guitar sound when I recorded this. For the life of me I can't remember which style I used but I will look later and let you know. I do remember that the style sounded TOTALLY different when playing in a minor key than it did if played in a major key. I love the fact that you can utilise styles in this way. Two different songs, two different keys and the same style yet the songs sound vastly different. Clever things these arrangers.
Very best to you
Tony

Hi Terry,
Thanks for visiting. I noticed that your site too has (relatively?) recently undergone a re-vamp. I like the strong bold colours (or colors for you Americans )

Your header graphics are a bit cool too

Best to you

Hi Tony

Keep it simple is the motto of good marketeers and you have it !
Yes , I like what I see.
Forgive me, for not yet d/ling more of your songs yet (You know I have already stated many times my respect for your music).
Reason is I finally decided to go for broadband and I am waiting for the connection to happen in the next few days.
I'm too excited to refrain from telling everyone
Meantime, you must keep your particular styles of song coming.
cheers
Eddie

Thanks Eddie and UD,
Both your comments are much appreciated.

Eddie did you decide on plus-net then? You will not be disapointed with broadband (whoever you chose to go with) believe me. I hope they connect you up sooner rather than later, it totally changes how you use the web.

I would hate to go back to dial up now. I don't know how I ever managed before!

Streaming MP3's is a good example.... just click the song and it starts playing, no wait, no hassle, no stuttering it's all just there instantly. And downloading a 3mb mp3 will be as quick as downloading a zip of style files with Dial-up. Brilliant! I can't wait for you to get hooked up because everyone told me how good it was but I did not believe it until I experienced it for myself.
Best to you
Tony
