Some moths ago I got the specs etc on the Roland E 600 from the Roland (world) page, since then haven't seen or heard nary a word about it. Has it ever reached the market place?

The G-600 is available at bargain prices in USA. Believe this is what you saw. It is a G800 with 61 keys.

I got a look and listen at/to an E-600 today, and I like what I have seen and heard. The touch screen is intuitive and far easier as a controller than the G series. 500 sounds are included, and are impressive (I have an E-96 for comparison). Also the 16 track sequencer is very attractive. Styles are good (what I heard). Cost lists at just under $4000, but could be had likely for closer to $3000. The floppy drive somehow manages to load data instantaneously, so that styles and performances are immediately accessible. Looks like a fine keyboard!

Geez.... only $3000 bucks! What is up with these extremely high prices on arranger keyboards? I thought Technics had the handle on highest prices... now Roland wants to discourage more of us!!!!
