A friend of mine needs to know if you record a tune on the PSR2k & save it to disc and play it thru anything other then your keyboard,eg: Sonar, VanBasco, Power Tracks it sounds terrible, out of tune, wrong sounds etc etc ....
Is there way to take that tune and convert it to General Midi format so it can play correctly?

Thanx in Advance

Hi: Donny
I think that Michael Bedesem's program called Midi Player
will do this. You can change voices to XG or GM, if you need to change drum track from
9 to 10 there is another program called Midi Fix to do that. You can get these
programs free from here, if you don't already have them.

I hope this is what your looking for.
Have a good Thanksgiving.

Denny,

Just downloaded Michael Bedesems's Midi-Fix and it fixes the problems of songs recorded on the 2000's quick record mode. I too always wondered about that problem and how to fix it. Just another tool in the growing arsenal of music related programs.
