Just bought a Roland SH-32 synth. I love it! So easy to use, brings back memories of my old Arp Odyssey (?sp?)!

I considered the Novation "A-Station", but I like sliders better than knobs for some things, and the SH-32 has lots of sliders, plus plenty of knobs/buttons to control things. Oh yeah, kind of important: it Sounds great too!

What can it do stand alone? I've heard pretty amazing demo's but surely they're all processed using an external sequencer?

Meanwhile what do you use it beside? I have a Roland XP-60. Is that ideal?

The SH32 is basically a "repackage" of the classis SH-101 synth, but with no keys and more polyphony. Digital oscilaters, analog filters .... cool, mini-moogISH sound.
Have fun with it.
