I've got a Hawaiian Luau party coming up soon. Anyone know where I can find some 'Yamaha PSR' Hawaiian/Carribean styles? Believe it or not, the PSR2000 only contains one Hawaiian style. I realize I can convert them from my Technics keyboard, but was curious to find out if there are any Yamaha originated (PSR8000, 9000, 9000pro, 740?) Hawaiian styles available.

Looking for styles suitable for these songs:

Tiny Bubbles
Pearly Shells
Beyond The Reef
Lovely Hula Hands
Blue Hawaii
Hawaiian Wedding Song
Hawaiian War Chant
Maui Chimes
Aloha Oe
Sophisticated Hula
Little Grass Shack

Aloha, - Scott

Just make up some Hawaii-sounding words to regular songs. Tell 'em you're not Chinese at all, but from a remote village on the back of a volcano.

Aloha, dude.

My audiences seem to always assume I'm from Hawaii and ask if I'm related to Don Ho, so I'm happy to fullfil their fantasy and usually include a Hawaiian medley (including 'Tiny Bubbles' of course ). btw: Uncle Don's actually part Chinese too Hang loose dude

Scott ... adding on to the thought from DonM, the group I played with for many years in NYC used to do 'Tiny Bubbles', and the sax player, who was NOT a vocalist, would 'answer' my english lyric with Hawaiian sounding words ..... fortunately we apparently never had a Hawaiian in the audience because no one called us on it.... people seemed to get a kick out of it though.... as I said in another post.... the gigging musician's greatest attribute - a sense of humor ....

Denny, Thanks for the PSR hawaiian styles converted from other KBS. I was just 'surprised' that the PSR9000/9000pro and 740 don't have many (if any?) hawaiian type styles 'included' in internal ROM.

I love luaus. Everyone's happy cuz they all get leied.
