I'm new to this BBS so I hope I don't upset anyone with this post - or sound like a complete ignoramous.
I've just acquired a Roland SH-1000 analogue synthesiser at the weekend. I know the headphone socket output works so I guess the main output is driven using common components? - I'll find out tonight hopefully. There's one damaged preset switch which I should be able to find a replacement for quite easily as they look like standard organ switches - though I don't know how you get the 27 years of ageing on the plastic!
The one snag I have is that there's no user manuals - well what do you expect? I can have lots of fun playing with the switches and dials, but it would be nice to know what they are supposed to do. Does anyone out there know of a source for such things? or maybe is prepared to prepared to copy any documentation that they have?
