Just thought I'd let everyone know I have had a bad experience with these guys. I ordered a Ketron footswitch from them ($100) a month ago because they were one of the few sites that had them in stock and sold them online.

They very promptly (same day) charged my credit card for the full amount, which I assumed meant they had to ship it.

After two weeks of hearing nothing from them I called them. A older gentleman answered the phone unprofessionally and made me feel very bad for bothering him. He said "What kind of product" and I said a Ketron. "Come on, what kind of Ketron!" and I said here's the order number. "I don't care about the order number, Ketron is ordered from the factory and you'll get it from them."

So I said thanks and waited another two weeks. Nothing.

So I called yesterday and got the same guy (sounds like a home business - wife talking in the background) and he still didn't want the order number he said he'd call the factory and find out about it and would call me back.

No call back.

I'm going to cancel this order today and they better credit my card.

This is my only experience with them and yours may have been great or may be great in the future with them. Mine wasn't.

Thanks for the heads up and it's good to know info. You can always dispute the charges on your card if they give you grief and they will charge back the merchant.

Sad to hear your predicament,If you need Ketron,Solton pedals either contact Keyboard City In Baltimore( Dan O'Niel ) or call directly to Ketron New York office and talk to Maggie. You'll have your accessory within days. Just a thought. Bob

Tommy,

As trtjazz says - the credit card company will get your money back.

I've had a couple of similar instances in the past and I called the credit card company, told them I hadn't received the merchandise (after having my card charged 2 weeks prior) and they credited my card - just like that. (almost on the spot).

Good Luck !!

Here's the update on these clowns:

After I received an email from them saying that my footswitch shipped and to wait for it I demanded the tracking number. I actually had to send TWO emails demanding the tracking number.

Two days later I get an email back stating that "they sent me two emails but for some reason I didn't get them" and that they checked with the factory and low and behold, it is on back order and really didn't ship. So they said they would credit my credit card.

That was four days ago and still no credit. I am giving them the benefit of the doubt and waiting one week, then I'll have my credit card company go after them. By law they cannot charge you until they ship the item so this will be an easy one.

It all worked out in the end as I am now selling my XD3.

I would strongly recommend NOT doing business with this company.

Looks like a Tyros, PSR3000, or PA1X PRO. I'm still looking at the Motif ES8 but REALLY don't feel like learning a new OS. I need the arranger solely for recording. I have found that I am more in demand playing my acoustic accordion and it sure is a lot less to haul to a job (just the accordion, one 1/4" cable and my MotionSound KP200S!)

I still love the things you can do with an arranger and I credit the XD3 with opening up a whole new world to me as I played probably about 500 hours along with its Jazz Patterns and learned an unbelievable amount of music from it.

I had a bad experience with this outfit a long time ago when I owned a Solton X1. I received a defective footswitch, and I was never reimbursed for my shipping costs. The owner told me that he would send me some floppies with Solton styles in compensation. They never came.

I notice they don't list their address on their website...
It takes about a month for VISA to cancel a charge when you complain about a retailer ripping you off. so start the paperwork sooner rather than later. VISA usually sends you a form you have to send back and then it takes around 30 more days.
