I'm running into problems with my Juno 106.
every now and then, I am unable to change the midi channels on it. selecting different channels has no effect, the LED reads 1. It's stuck in omni mode, (which sucks!) I'm running VST and the 106 is my controller. Am I just turning things ON or OFF in the wrong order? It's done this before, and I don't know how I fixed it. with the prospects of a live gig coming up, I need this problem fixed.... THANX

I have had similar troubles with my Juno 106 as a slave and found that the power-up sequence DOES make a difference. Try this:

1) Power EVERYTHING down.
2) Make your midi connections (in case you disconnect your PC when not used) for your whole rig.
3) Power-up your boards (all of them, including peripheral midi devices like midiverbs, etc).
4) Power-up your PC.

If you must power-down your Juno sometime after everything is up and running, then I would start the whole routine over again. Pain in the ass... don't know technically why it works this way but it seems the Juno loses midi sysex integrity at power-up.

As for your omni-mode problem... Try shutting eveything down, disconnect your midi cables and power-up the Juno standalone. You should be able to edit the midi-mode now (although I always work in omni myself)
