Hello,
I connected an external keyboard, (a simple midi keybord with no special features exept that keys have velocity touch!?), on the MC505.
When I play a patch on this external keyboard, the volume is much much lower than the volume on the MC505 small keypad. But when I play an RPS set, the volume is the same on both keyboards.
Could you please help
Thanks
Marc

The MC-505 keypad is not velocity sensitive
(default velocity value is 100), while
your external keyboard is (transmits
velocities value from 0 to 127 depending
on how hard you play). Try to
disable the velocity sensitivity of
your external keyboard...
(BTW RPS playing does not react to
keyboard velocity, that's the reason why
there is no difference in such a case).

Hi Stephane,
Thank you for your quick answer. The keyboard I am using has no switches, it is a simple midi keyboard with 49 keys. This keyboard is I think designed for PC's sound cards. Is there a parameter on the MC505 which would ignore velocity and play at a defined volume?
Thanks,
Marc
