I usually use this by spike milligan when i am sound recording:

I saw a little worm
wriggling on it's belly.
I asked him to come inside
to see whats on the telly!

Usually raises a smile.

See even that sounds romantic I must cultivate an italian accent! Not easy for someone with a deep Lancashire accent

Tony,
that reminds me of that great movie, "A fish called Wanda". One of the best scenes featured John Cleese speaking italian and Jamie Lee Curtis...well, I am sure you know the rest...

Hello Dreamer,
I am ashamed to say it but I have never seen the film.
I love John Cleese but for me he will always be Basil Fawlty (did you guys see Fawlty Towers?) ...and I can't take him seriously in anything else!
As Manuel (from fawlty towers) would say... que?

Tony,
I have the complete series from Fawlty Towers on DVD.

"Manuel?"
"Si, senor?"
"There is too much butter on those trays!"
"Que?"
"There is too much butter ON THOSE TRAYS!"
"Oh no, senor! No, no no: not "On those trays"; "UNO, DOS, TRES!"
