Hi Andrea, , thank you for the fast response and thorough answer. Mmmmmh; you gave me a lot of food for thought. I don't know what I want more: appregiators or sounds. I really like the sounds on the T2 and have almost everything I need: Guitars, Saxe's, Organs, Brass and Flutes, a decent Piano and E-piano. What I do miss at times are some ethnic sounds and some really good choir samples. The 9000 scat voices are just not cutting it. On the other hand I agree that the T2 could have had some more multipads. Therefor some appregiators would be nice. How is the ease of use with the Fantom vs. the ES? I guess I have to listen to one of those babies Ciao Eric

Eric, if you are looking for choirs the Fantom XR has some of the best vocal sounds I have ever heard. And, speaking of ethnic sounds, the card SRX 09 (World Collection) is dedicated entirely to ethnic instruments and rhytm sets. What sets the Fantom XR really apart from other modules is the ability to install eight expansion cards, which are much better compared with the PLG cards available for the Motif (and also for the 9000 pro). Plus, in the Motif ES rack you can install only two of them... You can find audio/video demo's of the SRX cards here: Let me know if you have more questions. Claudiu, thanks! Nice to see you there as well. Eric, I would say that the Fantom in general is easier to program compared with the Motif ES; moreover, the Fantom XR has a sampler, which is lacking in the Motif ES rack, so in theory you could load your own sounds in it. On the Roland US website ( www.rolandus.com ) you can find demo's of almost everything, including videos.
