Greetings,
I need to know how to use the sample playback function of my 9000 Pro. I have 65 MB RAM, an internal hard drive, a to-host cable, and several East-West brand sample CDs (sounds). I have no idea how to get the samples from the CDs into the 9000Pro via the to-host cable. Also, do I have to process the samples in some way to make them usable (such as make loops out of them)? Denny sent me some good information but it is based on the sounds being on floppy disk.
Thanks, DVJ

Deaton,

try to get a SCSI CDRom drive or a ZIP drive for your PRO, that would be probably the fastest solution. If this is not possible for you, there is the way via floppy.

Personally I have used the optional USB interface for the PRO. Don't know if there is any chance to get that from Germany to the US.

To do the looping, use the YAMAHA TWE Wave editor. Doing that in the PRO itself is a boring job.

Regards

Ulrich
