Starkeeper,
Do you still have those voice definitions for the PSR-550? I can't remember who it was that wrote them for us, but I can't seem to located them on my computer or disk. I was sure I saved them to try, but now I can't find them

Thanks,
Squeak

Squeak_D,
Here I am. Good morning.
I don't have the voice definitions file for the PSR550. Bryan "Pilot" says he has them.
If you get it from him, could you please send me a copy. Pilot is real big on XG voices. I noticed your questions on the SYXG-50, it might not be necessary to get that, since XG Works will convert your 550 into a powerfull synth.

Starkeeper,
Thanks for the info.. I understand what you mean about XG works and my 550.. My problem is that my wife and I only have one computer in the house. When I want to use XG works I have to drag my keyboard over to the computer and hook everything up each time. I like the softsynth idea because this way I can by a very inexpensive midi controller, and keep it at the computer.

Squeak_D,
Just buy a very inexpensive laptop or PC (the're even cheaper). It doesn't have to be very powerfull to run XG Works. I think Pilot is only using a Pentium II 300.
