I posted this on the Solton Group, maybe AJ or someone can explain this to me?

These are off the spec sheets

the SD5 has 128 internal styles
the SD1 has 131 flash styles and 168 Rom for a total of = 299

So there are 171 more styles on the SD1.

So my questions are

did Ketron figure that out of those 299 styles only 128 where worth it?

or did they make the SD5 so good that no one would buy the SD1 if it
had that many styles?

Forget the spec sheets! The SD1 had 307 styles 198 of which were revoiced X1 styles.
The SD5 (on mine) has 202 styles, most of which are quite new.
