Thanks a lot, John-Paul The T2 system has a sub-bass, and that's probably what you are missing. Once you get used to hearing it, it's hard to go back. You might check out the Logitech Z2300, or the larger Z5500. Very inexpensive and killer sound, particularly for smaller jobs, but actually able to handle fairly large rooms. DonM
