IAll,
Our church just bought a korg PA1XPro (loaded). I own a couple of 150 watts Pevey self powered amps. Each amps has two input connections at its back. the Korg has the L/mono and the R output connections.
What is the best way to configure the sound connectivity to these two amps.
Do I need to splitt the R/mo and distribute to each AMP or????
Assistance is gratly appreciated.
John-Paul

John-Paul,
You will get best results by running left output to one amp, right output to the other.

Don,
Shouldn't the r/mono split between the left and the right inputs connection on each AMP. The R should split between the right and the left of the two AMPS???

John-Paul,

Don has it correct if the amplifiers are mono. Send the left output to one amp and the right output to the other.

Tom, DonM,
I tried all the different connection combos, including the way you both recommended. I mean the PAIX is amazing, but I still don't get that warm sound like the one from TYROS2 speaker. Do you think that I need a new AMP that include subwoofer?
Thanks a lot,
John-Paul

You need to set the EQ to sound the way you like it on different speakers and in different rooms.

The T2 system has a sub-bass, and that's probably what you are missing. Once you get used to hearing it, it's hard to go back.
You might check out the Logitech Z2300, or the larger Z5500. Very inexpensive and killer sound, particularly for smaller jobs, but actually able to handle fairly large rooms.

Not having heard any of the logitech systems, can they really carry a fully-arranged backing track, with vocals and instruments (guitar) in a live situation? They look so small---which is great for quick setups for a solo act. Someone please advise. Are they in the same ballpark with conventional-looking speakers, such as Peavey, Mackie, Yamaha, and all the rest?

They are in the range of certain pa products, such as Peavey Escort, or Fender Passport. I think they do a better job soundwise than either of those.
I use the Z2200 some. I've used them half a dozen or so times at the supper club, with around 50 people, and they did fine.
Semilive has played some fairly big jobs with his. Gary has Z5500s he has customized for easy setup.
I actually have two sets, one on my computer, and the other in the van for backup pa.
