Hi good people!

I have an R 70 that's gone completely mad.
Everytime I turn it on the display says "Serial Error" and nothing else. It doesn't sound at all , either when I hit the pads or try to play it via Midi . It doesn't respond at all when I press the menu buttons or anything...just this "serial error"...

Now....does anyone know of a way to make a startup-reset of the R 70? Some kind of "Press and hold down this and that button while switching the power on 3 times"- initialize?
The only way to reset it that I can find in the manual requires that it's actually working and that I can step through the menus....

Someone please HEEELP me...
The first thing I'm gonna do when it wakes up from this catatonic state is to sample all the sounds and crush it under a DUMP TRUCK!!

If anyone knows anything please feel free to mail me at figge@lacarrmusic.com

Thaaaanks!!

From a old Roland Resource Book:

Factory resets
R-70 Power on while holding MIDI and ASSIGN, then press YES twice.
This is what you´re looking for?

Good luck...
