I am new to the keyboard world - is it better to go with three year old technology A-33), or wait for the newer/better/faster (a-37) mythology akin to automobiles?

Thanks,
Geoff

The A-33 was recently discontinued, correct? I haven't heard of a new controller in the works yet, but I wish someone would make one without out all the familiar limitations and cheapness. Can I dream here a moment? How about ability to control all 16 channels in any split\layer configuration with user definable Bank and Program change messages,at least 4 and up to 8 assignable sliders, and all the familiar controls such as selectable octave, wheels, aftertouch on\off per channel etc. 100 or so memory locations, an internal power supply, modest but effective LCD display, and available in 61 and 76 key synth weighted models, instead of 88 weighted only, for under $800. Is this too much to ask for? I'll bet the company that could market this would sell a ton of 'em. That's all, I'm out.

Inorder to respond to the 2nd post of this topic, is the Roland A-70 will fit the picture? They are sold at 550.00 with the Piano expansion board which is very good deal.
