What case would you 3K owners recommend for a gigging musician? Thanks.

The Kaces Porter KKP7KB (42.25" x 14.625" x 5.25")is perfect for it.

Although their web site show thats the KKP9KB is the one they recommend, and there are a couple here that liked the #9, you'll find, I think, the majority of players used the KKP7KB with their PSR2000 and 2100 which is the same dimensions.

The KKP7KB is a nice snug fit, easy to move and fit into your car's trunk.

I use the #9 for my Tyros only because I have to. It is bulky and clumsy and barely fits into my back seat of my car.

Looks like a nice case. Do you have any idea what the price is? Is it really padded enough? What do you think of the hard cases?

Here's a Froogle search.

You can also try ebay. I got a new #9 for my Tyros for $65.

Hard case is as heavy as the keyboard. Not really worth it unless you're going to take it on a plane.

It's got plenty of padding unless you're going to throw it out the window, then you'd get the same results with any case.

Thanks for the info. I emailed the company and am waiting for a response. I asked them for dealer names im my area. I'd like to physically see the case if I can.

HI deatonent

The earlier model had it. I'm not sure about the current model.

I hope the current model does not have it. I need a case like this but can't live with the metal stand holder.
Thanks,
DVJ

Hi deatonent

I saw the new model earlier today. Although I was not really paying that much attention, I don't recall seeing the stand holder. However, if it did have one it would be very easy to remove.
