Anyone get the new Sweetwater catalog? What do I love about their catalogs??? Well Sweetwater often has "bundle deals" that relate to guitar, keys, ect.

Well out of EVERY music catalog I get ONLY in Sweetwater can you find a bundle package of equipment at the "every day low price" of $125,000 (the basic option for this bundle can be had for cool savings and bought for $100,000)

I've used the store, the catalog and the trading post several times and had good, positive results each time.

I've purchased a lot of gear from Sweetwater in the past and absolutely LOVE their catalog (you can now download it online...in pdf and Zinio formats). The only reason I don't order from them that often is because I live on the West Coast and if I order from Audiomidi.com (in California), I get my stuff faster. Sweetwater likes to call you via telephone and chat about your order first, then ship. When Matthew Owens was my sales rep (in the ol' days of the mid-90's), I really enjoyed talking to him but after he left to go to law school, I had several different sales reps and it was just never the same again, at least for me. I've never had a bad experience with them...ever! Their catalog is my modern-day "Wishbook"!

I ordered a small speaker from Sweetwater several years ago. It failed within two weeks. They replaced it. It failed again within one week. The second time, I had put some velcro on the speaker before it failed. I was unable to get all of the adhesive off - I hadn't heard of goo gone.

Sweetwater charged me a $75 restocking fee for the adhesive, even though the speaker was broken, and I had two bad experiences. I would never use them again unless they had some loss leader promo.
