does anybody know how to create a patch using multiple sounds? i want to split the keyboard using 2 sounds on one side and another sound on the other. thanks.

The jp8k is a 2 part synth; in a split you can have only one patch on each side of the keyboard: lower patch -> left, upper patch -> right.
