A friend sent this midi to me. I can't believe how good it sounds on Tyros2. It must use the SA voices.

I've just listened to the file you put the link to and it sounds nothing special on my Tyros 2. I've also put it through the Mega Enhancer which makes it a little better, but it's just a typical midi file.
Try some of the internal pop/rock styles and play this song yourself or better still get one of the new 90's pop styles that's available to download off the IDC it sounds far better I've just tried it.

I too downloaded and listened to this midi on my Tyros2. I was far from impressed (as in BORINGGGGGGGGGGG.....). A little later, I heard a TV newscaster remind everyone to be on the lookout for "April Fools" jokes. Then I realized I had been HAD!

After reading the above I downloaded and ran it thru the ty2. It appears to be more of a backing track, so I winged a lead guitar into it, "not bad".........pose

IDC is Internet Direct Connection for the Tyros 2 and probably some other Yamaha's.
There isn't a web site where you can download stuff from, the keyboard connects to the web pages and you pay for what you want to download. The premium T2 styles are excellent and well worth buying.
