Does anyone know if I'll need a specific volume pedal type to work with my PSR2000, or would any one do? It's on my long list of accessory items I'm looking to acquire. Thanks!

I'm using the same Yamaha pedal I've had for years. I've used it on everything, including Roland, Korg, Technics and Solton. It's built like a tank and worth the money. DonM

I had a volume pedal from my now ancient "Cordovox". I hooked it up to my PSR 2000 and it works. The pedal was ahead of it's time since the pedal served two functions- Volume and Glide which would bend the notes. There was a small flexible area on the pedal that would control the glide "hands free", The output plug was a stereo plug which carried both signals. I tried splitting the signal into two plugs with a common ground and plugged them into 2 separate inputs on the 2000. One set for volume and one set for glide but was disappointed that it worked for one or the other not both. It would have been a terrific pedal had it worked for both functions.

I bought the Yamaha FC7 and it works great. I also had a Proel pedal I bought from American Musical Supply but I could never get that to work on any of my keyboards. Tom G.
