dilanband.......I also moved from a Korg i3 & i30 to a Roland. The Roland to look at is the VA7 or VA76, either of these will replace your i30. In the UK the VA7 & VA76 are the same price. The VA76 does not have speakers but has some additional buttons and is better value. You also have a touch screen which is easier to use than the one on the i30. They have Style Editing, Sampling can be done into the Variphase. Zip Disk containing 400+ styles is very fast. The Dynamic Keyboard can be set to a different velocity for any of the 8 Arrangement parts Drms,Bass, AC1, AC2, AC3, AC4, AC5, AC6. The D-Beam is useful if used sparingly.
The VA76 appears not to be available in the USA but you may have it in Canada.

Pls! this is so important point in purchasing this item,if not if there is another one with change of scales in arrangemnts seperatly as in i40M(MODULE which i have it here)or in global mode as in korg i3 here again. How about in roland which one with change scales ?

dilanband......As far as I am aware the Roland VA7 & 76 contain User Scales. Perhaps when you have had time to see and play it at a Dealers you can report back about this and also your findings generally about the VA's.

Being a Korg user for the past 6 years, the main difference to me was how good the voices are on the Roland straight from the box. On the Korg I had to do some tweaking to get it to sound right. The Korg scores with its styles, but you can convert these or download i3 - i30 styles that have already been converted to the Roland.stl.
