I think I have found a workaround for the lack of Chord Sequencer in the G70....
If you use a G600 or any other Roland arranger that HAS a chord sequencer, I think if you create a style that only has one Part, and that one Part only plays repeated 8th notes of the chord you play............. if you change the MIDI set of the G600 so that Part plays out through midi rather than play an internal sound, then you set your G70's NTA input channel to that part's channel number, and slave the G600 to the G70's clock, I think that would enable the Chord sequencer of the G600 to play the Styles of the G70, and........
FREE YOUR LEFT HAND!!
Unfortunately, I have done very little style creation work so far, so I am asking if anyone out there, with more experience than me, can create this very simple style. Just ONE part, one chord, and repeated short 8th notes (or 16ths might be better) but it MUST be compatible with G600/1000 and maybe RA800/90 (did the RA90 HAVE a Chord Sequencer?), so perhaps anyone with one of the Style Creation softwares could make this (I'm not sure that G70 styles are backward compatible with G600/1000)............
I (and many others, I'm sure) would be eternally grateful...........
