I really need a midi-patchbay/mergebox, how is the A880? (ins, outs, merging, rack-units, 2nd hand price etc....

Yogi - A buddy of mine has had one for almost a decade now - tried, true, and reliable. * ins, 8 outs. Personally, *I* always thought it was a little funky in how you set it up - I have a coupla MSB+ REV-2's (by JLCooper) in my rack, and I like the interface of these better than the Roland... but I guess it just depends on what you're used to.
