For better or worse, I gig regularly with a D-20. Now, I am a 'rhythm' keyboardist and primarily a guitar player so my Keys knowledge is....minimal at best. How can I get a Hammond / VOX Contimental / 60's sound outta this thing? Help! Thanks!!

It is impossible to get good vintage sounds from the d-20. You can make some nice analog sounds, but forget hammond. I use my d-20 as an easy way to put ideas down, and it is useless to me on stage. I play keys, and when I got an M1 8 years ago I retired my d-20. If you want good hammond sounds, check out the vintage keys module. The d-20 has no aftertouch, so it is basically useless with today's modules.
