I was just curious if anyone here owns the Triton Le or has played one.. I see the Le also has the $140 cash back offer, which would put it real close to the price of the PSR-2000/2100..... In the reviews I have read I have not read one good comment about the piano sound. There were also complaints about the action, but can't be any worse than our PSR's... Can anyone give some info on the board as to its sound quality, ease of use, and so on...?

Thanks
Squeak

The action is worlds better than the psr2k, but not as good as the original Triton. It's a much lighter feel and a totaly different keybed. You can't compare the 2 really - ones a cheap arranger with good sounds and the other is a good workstation in a cheaper package.

I had thought about getting a Triton LE myself to use with a live band. I generally liked the sounds and I could live with a slightly less than perfect piano sound in a live rock band but the feel of the keyboard put me off it. I think I may spend a little extra and go for a Yamaha Motif 6 which had a much better keyboard action and improved sounds and user interface which is important to me in live situation where the set list can change depending on the audience reaction. I need to be able to get to any type of sound patch as quickly as possible.

Nigel,
Wait for the Mo ES. I had a Mo 7 nice board, but I think the ES will be much improved.
