Can any of you suggest a low-priced editor to use for the JV-1010. The Sound Diver editor that came with the unit is difficult at best to use. Thank you

I have a JV-1010, and share your pain on SoundDiver - I've not been able to do much with it either, and gave up trying. I finally came to the conclusion that wanting to directly edit the voices of a $450 half-rack module with almost no on-unit controls was asking too much.

I use my JV-1010 as-is out of the box, manipulating the voices by external patch selection and mixing through my sequencing software. The unit gives a really fine ratio of available sounds to bucks spent, but I've gotten the impression from all the discussion on this forum that it stinks as a directly-editable module.

Hope someone out there has a different opinion and skill base!
