Is anyone using the Yamaha Internet Direct Connect (IDC) function on the 3000, T1 or T2?

If so, for what?

Yes, I am. For exclusive 'IDC downloadable only' new Tyros2 styles. Good Stuff.
Using the Belkin USB Ethernet Lan Adapter (I received FREE) from Yamaha USA.

I'm using IDC with the T2 for the great premium styles.

There's some really good ones and they are on par with the quality of the factory ones in the T2.

Did everyone else get a free download from the IDC site? And didn't the IDC site contain several styles already found on the TYROS 2? I find myself with many question after visiting the site.
Oh well, thats nothing new for me.

Regards,

Dennis

I check the IDC site often with my Tyros2. I have been very pleased with what they have offered. There hasn't been anything new in styles in 2 months................I hope this isn't "typical yamaha" behaving as they usually have done. My PSR3000 boasted the IDC connection and Yamaha hyped it up to the max when it first came out. Then the well went dry.................
I read some articles a few months ago about Yamaha retaining some of the Tyros2 stylemakers for future IDC offerings. I hope they will be offering more than is available now. I'll keep my fingers crossed! -charley
