Hello all
I'm going to buy a new keyboard and I got 2 to choose from, the VA-7 and the RD-700, both from Roland. Can anyone tell me which one would be better?

Wow - talk about apples and oranges. They have nothing in common except the name "Roland". You need to decide if you want arranger or not - weighted keys or not - speakers or not ....etc...

More in the same ballpark now.
The G series has better navigation.
The VA has newer sounds.
The G has more outputs and SCZI.
The VA has variphrase and speakers.
The Drums in the Va are more sizzly.
The drum styles in the G are easier to trigger in a live setting.

The VA76 is a closer match to the G1000.
76 keys, no speakers ..... etc.
Don't rush into this ..... you have to listen to YOUR needs and likes.
